ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT

Unlike most potential partners in this space we have been working on and engaging with boards on the introduction of Enterprise Risk Management for over fifteen years. Twenty years ago we were developing, marketing and implementing Monte Carlo based simulation packages for some of the largest PFI/PPP projects in the world. A large part of our workload is in education. As an expert external provider in risk we supply extensive tailored training and refresher courses. These include briefing papers, presentations and interactive sessions as well as scored question papers – so that it’s not all talk.

We have presented to and sat on multiple board Audit Committees and Risk Committees. Engagement with boards of directors requires a very precise skill set and we have that in spades. For more experienced risk management clients the tools and techniques we employ are those required to keep risk systems alive and relevant as the company evolves. Understanding and embracing the culture of any client is crucial and our clients are all very different.

ORGANISATIONAL RESILIENCE

With practical experience from real life crisis management of multiple airline incidents, Japan Tsunami, entertainment ride incidents and oil spills Tunstall Associates bring a hands on view of how systems and organisations can be made resilient.

We have provided hands on corporate management input and advice in life or death emergency situations on multiple occasions. As an information and supply resilience specialist we have carried out dozens of audits of complex corporate and project structures providing useful, practical feedback. Experienced in media management and impact of social media on crisis management.

Experience includes: Led development and implementation of improved crisis management and introduced business continuity programme for a major casino. 
Developed, carried out and observed multiple crisis management exercises including integrated resort specific scenarios (involving up to 200 participants) as well as those normally associated with a gaming, hotel and convention complex.

Led development and implementation of project and corporate wide business continuity programme for a major airline as well as roll out of various crisis management solutions. 
Acted as Deputy Crisis Manager for four major aviation incidents across the region including issues in Shanghai, Surabaya, London (Icelandic Volcanic Eruption) and Tokyo (Japan Tsunami). International security risk expert party to flight and destination risk decision making. 
Carried out crisis management testing and review of major risk incidents most notably relating to a shipping incident in 2011. Assist in follow up to major oil spill incident in Australia which was significant enough to receive personal attention from the both Prime Minister and State Premier.

Consultant to entertainment park in the region during and after a major safety incident, a major US bank on the design and implementation of Business Continuity solutions in Hong Kong, a major transportation provider and a global FMCG group on their response plans for Avian flu across Asia.

Established business continuity programmes in several Asia based conglomerates using a pragmatic and practical approach to ensure live documentation both at unit and corporate levels.

Core member of crisis management team for major events including two events rated ‘critical’ to the organisation.

INSURANCE PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
